Catherine Sparsidis Heren Istarion Staff Artist, Art Coordinator Gathering of the Fellowship Catherine, born in August of 1974, attended the Fashion Institute of Technology for six years and now holds an Associates degree in fine arts and a Bachelors in Illustration. At the age of nine she found a hobbit walking across her television. At the age of ten she found him filling up her daydreams with talks of elves, goblins, dragons and adventures. At the age of twenty-seven she finds herself peeking around corners in the woods hoping to catch the tiniest glimpse of a drifting golden leaf or the point of a faded gray hat. Growing up with the images of Middle-earth in her heart, her goal is to capture them and set them to canvas as vividly as the Simirilli contain the light of the Trees of Valinor. |
