On Monday May 5th Heren Istarion's Chairman Anthony Burdge will be giving a lecture on Tolkien and Beowulf at Hunter College, for an English class at Hunter College NYC. Available at the class will be a beginners guide to Beowulf and its influences on Tolkien's work. This guide and lecture will be a precursor to the A look at Tolkien and the Beowulf Poet seminar at The Gathering of the Fellowship in December 2003. The guide to Tolkien and the Beowulf Poet will be available in the next issue of Heren Istarion's journal Parma Nole.

At last! After months of waiting, the Ancanar Teaser Trailer has finally found a home at IFILM, the web's leading source for popular media. The trailer will appear online this FRIDAY MAY 2ND, available in Quicktime, RealPlayer, and Window Media formats, free to view for all.
The trailer premiered on Ancanar.com in January, only to be flooded with millions of hits, crashing the site (it was only up for three days). We're very pleased to announce that the trailer is finally re-appearing online.

We're giving you the chance to choose which Ancanar poster will become available to buy. Go to our poster contest to select your favorite design, and you are automatically entered to win that poster!

The design that receives the most votes will be sold in a limited run on Ancanar.com. You can vote as many times as you like, but you can only be entered into the contest once. The poster and winner will be announced on Friday, May 9th.
