We have had a number of inquiries into our Wizard-sized membership package. First, it shall become available after the "Design the Wizard T-Shirt" contest ends with a winner. The cost of the Wizard-sized membership package is $50; in addition, if you wish to join now at the Man-sized level, the upgrade fee to wizard shall only be $13. This offer ends at the completion of the Wizard T-shirt contest.
To make it easier for those interested in joining the snail mail address in which to send the application, has been added to our Become a Member page and the application itself.
We would like to again invite one and all to send us your submissions for Parma Nölè and for the website. We will soon have a fan art and fiction page active, the more submissions we have the sooner it will be up and running. Also for all of the gourmet hobbits out there, send us your recipes. Our Hobbit Secretary will be more than happy to experiment in her own Bag End kitchen for us here at Heren Istarion.

Here we are the Fall 2002 line of the Houghton Mifflin Lord of the Rings titles!

If you are interested in Arthurian lore and tales related around the times of King Arthur then give Barnes and Noble Astor Place in Manhattan,NYC a call to get more information on their reading/discussion group of Queen Isolde on 8/23. It is going to be run by our very own Staff Artist Catherine and her Noble compatriot Laurie. Also in November these two ladies and Heren Istarion shall be running a reading/discussion group for The Two Towers, in which we will have Lord of the Rings giveaways and other great stuff. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the event. Soon we shall be announcing our Gaming Director who will be in charge of running Lord of the Rings related Role Playing and Collectible Card Gaming tournaments and events. These events will take place in the fall and if you are interested email the Chairman at HERENISTARION@YAHOO.COM for early sign-up, but remember if you are not a Heren Istarion member there will be a fee to take part in these events, ALL participating Heren Istarion members will get in for free and discounts on any items.
