"New Dorp singer belts 'Rings' in Newark"
Last week Staten Island Advance Arts Editor Michael Fressola treated us to a preview of The LOTR Symphony on December 4th, which featured Full Lyric Soprano and Staten Island Resident Tammy Tyburczy. Performing for a sold out crowd at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center , Ms. Tyburczy "sang (in Elvish!) with haunting beauty."
Mr. Fressola has continued his wonderful exploration in the musical landscapes of Middle-earth, the LOTR Symphony and the work of Ms. Tyburczy in the December 7th Staten Island Advance.

Alan Lee Books of Wonder Event Report!
On Saturday December 4th Tolkien fans were taken on an enchanting tour through the work of Alan Lee. The slideshow presentation with the Q&A session/discussion that followed was a delight and joy for all. Many thanks to Houghton Mifflin and Books of Wonder for this fantastic treat!
