In April of 2002 Heren Istarion was a part of a sci-fi/fantasy convention, where we presented Mr. Billy Boyd aka Pippin from Peter Jackson's film treatment of The Lord of the Rings, with a bust of his character,pictures and my (Chairman) report can be seen on our main page. What I have for you today is a report that I have eagerly awaited. The report from the eyes of our ever faithful Hobbit secretary Stephwise. July 9th

Have you ever delved into the 12 volume History Of Middle-Earth? I have come across a great guide to what is contained in the many tomes of the H.o.M.E, a great beginning to those who have not yet begun or not read any of our dear Professors elaborate history, the stories before The Lord of the Rings.

July 10th

The Staff at Heren Istarion would like to announce its 1st of two contests this month. Many apologies for the lack of updates but there are a number of things here in the works for Heren Istarion:

Third, Recently Heren Istarion had another wonderful meeting with one of the Fellowship. This time it was Viggo Mortensen aka Aragorn from Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings film trilogy. We were supplied with a bust of Aragorn, courtesy of Sideshow WETA, and presented it to him at his booksigning July 12th at the Robert Mann Gallery here in NYC. July 30th

As in April with presenting Mr.Billy Boyd with a bust of his character Pippin, we had the wonderful opportunity to meet with Mr. Viggo Mortensen who as you all know portrays Aragorn from Peter Jackson's film treatment of The Lord of the Rings. Many thanks must first go to our friends at Sideshow Toy for supplying the bust of Aragorn to present. Also many thanks to Ms Pilar Perez of Perceval Press, Mr. Mortensen's editor, who helped arrange the meeting at the Robert Mann Gallery, where Mr. Mortensen's art was on display.Our official report to Sideshow Toy and more pics can be found from the main page of our site, where you can also read of the presentation to Mr. Billy Boyd, just click on the Fellowship pic.
