Ringbearers-Day
2004 April
10, 2004 Marymount Manhattan College, NYC
On April
8th, the Ringbearers, Frodo and Sam, were honored on the field
of Cormallen. So what better way to celebrate than with an abundance
of things Tolkien and Tolkien-inspired? Enough fun for all ages
to mark this momentous occasion, from readings to special presentations.
We're especially pleased to present an exclusive screening of
scenes from the Tolkien-inspired film, Ancanar
We've featured their work
online, and in our printed journal, Parma Nólë. We're looking
forward to sharing the work of Ancanar
during Ringbearers-Day.
We also welcome Master metal smiths Joe Piela and Jenna Brocious
of The
Lonely Mountain Forge, who designed and crafted the arms
and armor for Ancanar. They will be on hand discussing and demonstrating
the arms and armour for the film and of Middle-earth.
