Two more items have just been added to our continuing look at the Tolkien-inspired film Ancanar: (1) An Interview with Writer/Director Sam Balcomb, and (2) Commentary on Chapter 2 "Of the Coming of Harvest", from the Book of Rammoth, one of the books of lore, the history of Rammoth Valley. "If you are attending The Gathering of the Fellowship next month and plan on attending the panels and presentations hosted by Heren Istarion its likely that you already know about the Q&A portion of the programming that we have scheduled. We would like you to send questions to us so that if a particular panel or presentation runs over schedule and we do not have time to open questions to open to the floor for audience participation we can ask your questions for you. Please send your questions along with your real name not a screen name or handle and the name of program in which you would like your question to be asked.

We have now posted the beginning of commentary to the Books of Rammoth, the history behind the Ancanar film. This is in part to our continuing look at the the Ancanar film, the incredible forthcoming independant Tolkien-inspired film. Todays begins Heren Istarion's own push toward the Ancanar Presentation at The Gathering of the Fellowship. As you may know Heren Istarion was asked to moderate their presentation and have humbly accepted. Over the course of the next few weeks before The Gathering of the Fellowship we will bring to you a look at the Ancanar project and interviews with Writer/Director Samb Balcomb, Writer/Producer/Actress Raiya Corsiglia ,and actor Gregory Lee Kenyon who brings to life the legendary title role of Ancanar.

Last week we (Anthony and Jessica)were invited by Sam Balcomb Director/Writer of the Tolkien-inspired film Ancanar to moderate their presentation at The Gathering of the Fellowship in December.

From Ancanar.com: ""Not only is it an honor but we feel that we are taking part in history," Anthony (and Jessica) recently stated. "Ancanar, in our opinion, is the only film project that weaves the heart of Tolkien's themes into its mythical tapestry."

In coming weeks, Heren Istarion will have interviews with Writer/Director Samb Balcomb, Writer/Producer/Actress Raiya Corsiglia ,and actor Gregory Lee Kenyon who brings to life the legendary title role of Ancanar. We will also be taking a look at the Ancanar teaser trailer and The Books of Lore.

"Charles McCreery has made a notable contribution to the growing body of music related to the writings of J.R.R. Tolkien. His sequence of settings from The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings and the Silmarillion has a number of thematic links between the songs, and can be regarded as a cycle, although each song could be performed alone. The style is tuneful and straightforward, which is well suited to the ballad-like style of many of Tolkien’s poems..."
